The Vietnam-based electric car maker VinFast has postponed its plan to launch VF 7 and VF 6 in India. According to the reports, the company, which was all set to release these tech-loaded electric SUVs this month, has now been pushed by a month.
The reports suggested that VinFast’s Thoothukudi facility has also witnessed a temporary pause. The plant that was supposed to kickstart the operation on June 30, will now start doing the production somewhere in July 30.
Reason Behind Delay
The decision to put a temporary pause has been taken due to a lack of a sales network strategy. The reports say that the brand is in the process of spreading its network across the country to offer good service to the target audience.
