The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an important notice for Manipur candidates preparing to appear for the UPSC Prelims Exam 2024. Candidates who initially chose Imphal as their exam location can now switch to any of the 80 exam centres across the country as designated by the commisison.
This option for centre change will be available from April 8, 2024 to April 19, 2024.Candidates can access this service through the UPSC website or by calling the toll-free helpline (1800118711) during business hours.
They can also submit their centre change requests via email to uscsp-upsc@nic.in within the specified timeframe. Candidates who submit requests for centre changes through any of the provided modes will be assigned to the venues of their preferred centres.
Each candidate will receive a confirmation message regarding the change of centres on their registered mobile number.
According to the notice, these candidates’ e-admit cards, as well as those of other eligible UPSC Prelims candidates, will be available for download about a week before the exam. The notice states, “The e-Admit Cards to these candidates will be available for downloading from the UPSC’s Website along with other eligible candidates of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024, around one week before the date of Examination.”
The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, which was originally scheduled for May 26, 2024, has been rescheduled for June 16, 2024, due to the general elections.
